The OSG 62625 is a jobber-length twist drill bit designed for production and maintenance drilling in metal fabrication, machining, and mechanical trade work. Built from vanadium high speed steel with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, it delivers extended wear resistance and reduced friction in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 120-degree split point (S-thinned web) allows self-centering entry without a center punch on most surfaces. With an overall length of 158 mm and a flute length of 101 mm, this bit suits standard drill chucks and magnetic drill setups common in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical rough-in work.

The OSG 62625 is rated for drilling into steel, stainless steel, aluminum, aluminum alloy, and aluminum silicate. Typical applications include blind hole drilling, cross-hole operations, through-hole drilling, and self-centering starts in structural and sheet material.
