The OSG 5810600 is a 4-flute cobalt square end mill designed for milling operations in ferrous and difficult-to-machine materials. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it provides improved heat and wear resistance compared to standard HSS tooling. The cutter measures 0.315 inches in diameter with a 3/4-inch length of cut and a 3/8-inch shank diameter, giving it a compact, rigid profile suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling in a variety of CNC and manual machining setups. The 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces across the flute length.

This end mill is intended for use in machine shops, toolrooms, and production environments where consistent performance in steel, stainless, and high-alloy materials is required.
