The OSG 5740200 is a 4-flute square end mill designed for general-purpose milling operations in machine shop and production environments. Ground from 3% vanadium high speed steel, it delivers improved wear resistance and edge retention compared to standard M2 HSS. The cutter measures 5/32 inches in diameter with a 7/16-inch length of cut and mounts on a 3/8-inch shank. Overall length is 2-3/8 inches. The 30-degree spiral helix promotes efficient chip evacuation, and the centercutting geometry allows plunge entry.
