The OSG 5732408 is a square end mill designed for general-purpose milling operations in a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built from 3% vanadium high speed steel, it delivers improved wear resistance and edge retention compared to standard M2 HSS tooling. The 11/16-inch cutting diameter and 1-5/16-inch length of cut make it well suited for slotting, peripheral milling, and light profiling work. The TiCN coating adds surface hardness and reduces friction at the cutting edge. A 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation, and the centercutting geometry allows direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled hole.

This end mill fits standard vertical and horizontal CNC machining centers, knee mills, and manual milling machines with a 5/8-inch collet or tool holder. The 3-7/16-inch overall length keeps deflection low in typical setups.
