The OSG 5730300 is a square end mill designed for milling operations in metal and general-purpose machining applications. Built from 3% vanadium high speed steel, it delivers improved wear resistance compared to standard M2 HSS tooling. The cutter measures 3/16 inch in diameter with a 7/16 inch length of cut, a 3/8 inch shank diameter, and a 2-5/16 inch overall length. The two-flute spiral configuration with a 30-degree helix angle promotes chip evacuation and reduces cutting resistance. Centercutting geometry allows the tool to plunge directly into the workpiece. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation conform to standard milling setups. No coating is applied, making the tool suitable for regrinding and general shop use.
