The OSG 5462500 is a 6-flute cobalt square end mill designed for material removal in milling operations across a wide range of metalworking applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, this end mill delivers improved heat and wear resistance compared to standard HSS tooling. The cutter measures 0.625 inches in diameter with a 2.5-inch length of cut and a 4.625-inch overall length. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. It is uncoated and suited for use on manual mills, CNC machining centers, and knee mills. Licensed machinists and toolroom technicians are the primary installers and operators of this tooling.
