The OSG 5429500 is a cobalt square end mill designed for milling ferrous and hard materials in metalworking applications. It features a 13/32 inch (0.4063 inch) cutting diameter, a 1 inch length of cut, and a 1/2 inch shank diameter, with an overall length of 4-1/8 inches. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, this double-end mill runs a 4-flute spiral configuration with a 30-degree helix angle and right-hand cut and flute direction. It ships uncoated and is sized as a regular-length tool. Licensed machinists, tool-and-die makers, and CNC mill operators are the primary users of this end mill.

This end mill fits production and job-shop milling environments where cobalt tooling is preferred over carbide for its toughness and resistance to shock loading. Installation Notes

Because this end mill is not center-cutting, do not use it for direct plunge entry into solid material.
