The OSG 5410105 is a single-end, four-flute square end mill engineered for general-purpose milling in cobalt M42 high-speed steel. It carries a Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating that increases surface hardness and reduces friction during cutting, extending tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 3/8-inch shank diameter and 2.3125-inch overall length make it a compact, rigid tool suited for profiling, slotting, and peripheral milling operations. Center-cutting geometry allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional vertical and horizontal milling machine setups.
