The OSG 5410100 is a 4-flute square end mill designed for general milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it withstands higher cutting temperatures than standard M2 HSS tooling, making it well suited for harder steels and stainless applications. The 1/8 inch cutting diameter pairs with a 3/8 inch length of cut and a 30-degree helix angle that promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The uncoated finish keeps regrinding simple. This tool is installed by machinists and tool-and-die professionals in manual mills and CNC machining centers.
