The OSG 5310700 is a cobalt square end mill designed for milling ferrous and difficult-to-machine materials in metalworking applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, this single-end tool features a 0.5 inch cutting diameter, a 1 inch length of cut, and a 3/8 inch shank diameter with an overall length of 2-11/16 inches. The three-flute geometry and 30-degree right-hand spiral helix provide a balance of chip evacuation and cutting stability. The centercutting design allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece.
