The OSG 5203500 is a cobalt square end mill designed for milling operations that demand toughness and heat resistance beyond standard high-speed steel tooling. Built to Series 520 specifications, this end mill features a 31/32-inch cutting diameter, a 1-1/2-inch length of cut, and a 3/4-inch shank diameter, with an overall length of 3-3/4 inches. The M42 cobalt steel construction handles harder workpiece materials and elevated cutting temperatures that would degrade conventional HSS tools. With 2 flutes and a 30-degree helix angle, it provides efficient chip evacuation and a balanced cut in a wide range of milling applications. Installed and operated by machinists and toolmakers in production and job-shop environments.

This end mill is suited for peripheral and slot milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials where cobalt tooling is preferred over carbide for toughness.
