The OSG 496-250311 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. It features a 1/4 inch cutting diameter, a 0.03 inch corner radius, and 4 flutes with a 30-degree helix angle. The micrograin carbide substrate is coated with TiAlN via a PVD process, providing high heat resistance and extended tool life when cutting ferrous and hard materials. This is a single-end, centercutting tool, meaning it can plunge as well as profile. Machinists and toolroom operators use this end mill for both roughing and finishing passes in one setup.

The 496-250311 is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and hard materials in job shop and production environments.
