The OSG 482-187508 is a 2-flute solid carbide square end mill designed for general-purpose milling in a wide range of metalworking applications. It carries a 3/16 inch cutting diameter with a 1-1/8 inch length of cut and a 3 inch overall length. The micrograin carbide substrate supports higher edge retention compared to standard carbide grades, and the TiCN (titanium carbonitride) coating reduces friction and extends tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. A 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action across a variety of workpiece materials. This tool ships as a single-end mill and is sold individually.

This end mill is suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling operations on machining centers and manual mills.
