The OSG 447-7500 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. Built from micrograin carbide, it delivers consistent cutting performance and edge retention across a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The tool features a 3/4 inch cutting diameter, a 1-1/2 inch length of cut, and a 4 inch overall length, making it a regular-length option suited to standard milling depths. With four flutes and a 30-degree helix angle, it balances material removal rate with surface finish quality. This end mill is center-cutting, allowing direct plunge entry into workpieces where required.
The OSG 447-7500 is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines operating in production and job-shop settings. Its right-hand cut with left-hand flute geometry, combined with the spiral flute design, promotes efficient chip evacuation during climb and conventional milling passes. The uncoated micrograin carbide construction makes it suitable for use with cutting fluids in ferrous materials and dry cutting in certain non-ferrous applications.
