The OSG 4100003811 is a solid carbide helical flute thread mill designed for cutting 7/16-14 UNC internal threads in a single helical interpolation pass. It runs a 0.3500-inch cutting diameter with a 1.0710-inch length of cut, giving machinists sufficient reach for through-holes and blind holes at this thread size. The three right-hand flutes are finished with OSG EXO coating for improved wear resistance and chip evacuation in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 3/8-inch straight shank mounts directly in standard ER or end mill holders.
