The OSG 402-4688 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. Built from micrograin carbide, it delivers consistent cutting performance and edge retention in a variety of materials. The 15/32 inch (0.4688 inch) cutting diameter pairs with a 1/2 inch shank, a 1 inch length of cut, and a 3 inch overall length. The 30-degree spiral helix and 2-flute geometry promote efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. This is a single-end, centercutting tool, meaning it can plunge directly into a workpiece as well as perform peripheral and slot milling. Installation Notes
