The OSG 402-1562 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built from micrograin carbide, it delivers the rigidity and edge retention required for accurate slot milling, profiling, and plunge cutting. The cutter measures 5/32 inches (0.1563 inches) in diameter with a 9/16-inch length of cut and a 3/16-inch shank diameter. Overall length is 2 inches. The two-flute, spiral geometry with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. This tool is centercutting, allowing direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled hole.

The 402-1562 is suited for general-purpose milling on CNC machining centers, knee mills, and manual machines in job shop, production, and maintenance environments.
