The OSG 36700211 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding machining environments. The cutting diameter measures 0.0781 inches (5/64 inches) with a 0.0100 inch corner radius that protects the cutting edge and reduces chipping on workpiece corners. With 4 helical flutes, a 30-degree medium helix, and WXL PVD coating, this tool delivers both roughing and finishing performance in a single pass. Overall length is 1.5 inches, length of cut is 0.25 inches, and the straight cylindrical shank diameter is 0.1250 inches. Micrograin carbide construction provides rigidity and wear resistance suited to high-hardness workpiece materials.
This end mill is engineered for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where tight tolerances are required on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The centercutting design allows plunge entry, expanding its utility in slotting, profiling, and pocket milling operations. It is appropriate for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The single-end configuration and right-hand flute direction suit standard right-hand spindle toolholders. It fits into standard straight-bore toolholders and is sold individually.
Designed for use with standard straight-bore toolholders accepting a 0.1250 inch shank diameter. Suitable for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials per OSG Series 3670 application guidelines.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and machine power isolated. Seat the shank fully and evenly in the toolholder collet or chuck, and verify runout before cutting. At this diameter, minimize overhang to reduce deflection. Follow shop-specific speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and coating type; do not exceed the tool manufacturer recommended parameters for this diameter and coating class.
