The OSG 36200007 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. With a 0.1875 inch cutting diameter, a 0.375 inch length of cut, and a 2 inch overall length, this tool is built for tight-tolerance slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling. The micrograin carbide construction provides rigidity and wear resistance suited to hardened and abrasive workpiece materials. A 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. The WXL coating adds surface hardness and heat resistance for extended tool life in production settings. This end mill is a single-end, right-hand cut tool intended for use by machinists and CNC operators.
This end mill is well suited for light to medium material removal in a variety of machining applications including slotting, side milling, and finishing passes on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Its compact 0.1875 inch diameter makes it appropriate for fine-feature work and small-part machining on CNC mills and manual knee mills alike. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry where required. Machinists working in job shop, aerospace, and general manufacturing environments will find this tool applicable to a wide range of setups.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide square end mill suitable for standard 0.1875 inch collets, ER collet chucks, and end mill holders on CNC machining centers and manual mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist. Secure the shank fully within the tool holder to the minimum insertion depth recommended for the holder type, and verify runout before initiating a cut. Ensure the spindle and machine are at a complete stop before changing tooling. Follow shop-standard speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and coating type to avoid premature tool wear or breakage.
