The OSG 3103005 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in steel, stainless steel, and hard materials. It features a 3 mm cutting diameter, a 0.2 mm corner radius, and a 2.5 mm length of cut. The tool carries a WXS PVD coating applied via physical vapor deposition, which improves wear resistance and tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. With a 2-flute, right-hand helical geometry and a coarse pitch designed for roughing, it suits demanding applications where chip evacuation and cutting efficiency are priorities. This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers with a compatible toolholder.

The OSG 3103005 is a stub-length, single-end tool with extended reach capability. It is suited for slotting, profiling, and roughing passes in steel and stainless steel workpieces, as well as hard materials. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician. Secure the 6 mm shank in a compatible toolholder to the appropriate clamping specification for the holder type in use. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before tool changes. Do not exceed the rated reach length with unsupported overhang, as this increases deflection risk during roughing passes.
