The OSG 3102010 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in steel, stainless steel, and hard materials. It features a 2 mm mill diameter with a 0.2 mm corner radius and a 1.6 mm length of cut in a stub-length configuration. The tool carries a WXS PVD coating applied to the solid carbide substrate, improving wear resistance and surface finish performance in demanding ferrous applications. With 2 flutes in a right-hand helical configuration and a coarse pitch geometry, it is optimized for roughing material removal. This tool is installed in a compatible toolholder by machinists and CNC operators running small-diameter precision work.
This end mill is suited for small-feature milling operations in residential and commercial CNC machining environments. Its extended-reach design with a 16 mm reach length and 1.95 mm neck diameter allows access to deeper pockets and recessed features without sacrificing rigidity. It is intended for use in steel, stainless steel, and hard materials as defined by material codes P, M, and H. The 4 mm straight-cylindrical shank fits standard collets and toolholders accepting that shank diameter. The single-end design makes it a direct consumable replacement in high-production and job-shop settings alike.

Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the 4 mm shank fully into the collet or toolholder and torque the retention mechanism per the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout within acceptable limits before beginning a cut, as small-diameter carbide tooling is sensitive to excessive runout.
