The OSG 2913808 is a spiral flute tap designed for cutting 10-32 UNF internal threads in a wide range of ferrous materials. Built from vanadium high-speed steel and finished with a titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating, it delivers extended tool life in demanding production and maintenance environments. The 45-degree helix angle and three right-hand flutes channel chips up and out of the hole efficiently, making this tap well-suited for blind-hole threading operations. The modified bottoming chamfer allows threads to be cut close to the bottom of a blind bore. Overall length is 2.125 inches, with a thread limit of H3 and a 2B class of fit.
