The OSG 20555003 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for high-performance material removal in demanding machining applications. Built on OSG Series 2055, it features a 1/2 inch cutting diameter, a 0.0600 inch corner radius, and five flutes with a variable index and variable helix geometry. The EXO PVD coating provides enhanced wear resistance and thermal stability at the cutting edge. At 3 inches overall length with a 1 inch length of cut, this single-end, centercutting tool handles both roughing and finishing passes. It is installed by machinists and toolroom professionals in CNC machining centers and milling setups.

This end mill is designed for use in stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials — workpiece material codes M, S, and H. The variable helix and variable index flute geometry help suppress chatter and improve surface finish on difficult-to-machine alloys. The right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting action are standard for conventional CNC milling setups. Installation Notes

Install and remove this end mill with the machine spindle fully powered down and locked out per facility lockout/tagout procedures. Seat the Weldon flat shank fully into the toolholder bore before tightening set screws to the toolholder manufacturer specification. Inspect the cutting edges and corner radius for chips or wear before each use — carbide is brittle and a damaged edge should not be run at full parameters. Confirm correct spindle direction (right-hand) before initiating a cut.
