The OSG 20151911 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. It features a 3/4 inch cutting diameter, a 7/8 inch length of cut, and a 0.06 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentrations at the tool tip and extends part life. The 4-flute, right-hand cutting geometry with a 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes. A TiAlN coating provides thermal resistance and wear protection at elevated cutting temperatures. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers working in job shops, production facilities, and toolrooms.
This end mill is suited for profiling, slotting, and finishing operations on ferrous metals, stainless steels, and high-temperature alloys where a radius corner is required to prevent sharp-corner cracking or to match part geometry. The centercutting design allows plunge entry. With a 3/4 inch shank diameter and 3-1/2 inch overall length, it mounts directly in standard collet chucks, end mill holders, and hydraulic tool holders of matching bore. It is appropriate for both conventional and climb milling strategies on vertical and horizontal machining centers.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or standard-stock end mill for use in any machine tool spindle accepting a 3/4 inch shank, including collet chucks, shell mill adapters, and hydraulic holders of matching bore size.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Always power down and lock out the machine spindle before inserting or removing the tool from its holder. Ensure the shank is fully seated to the recommended engagement depth in the holder and that the holder bore is clean and free of chips or coolant residue before clamping. Follow the tool manufacturer and machine builder guidelines for runout tolerance, clamping torque, and speeds and feeds appropriate to the workpiece material.
