The OSG 1593600 is a spiral point plug tap designed for threading 10-32 UNF internal threads in a wide range of metals. The spiral point geometry pushes chips forward ahead of the cutting action, keeping the flutes clear and allowing the tap to run efficiently in through-hole applications. Manufactured from high-speed steel with a bright finish, this tap measures 2.375 inches overall length with a 0.875-inch thread length and a 0.194-inch shank diameter. The H11 thread limit provides a controlled oversize of 0.005 inches, which accommodates standard thread tolerances for class 2B fits. It is a right-hand tap with 2 flutes and no coolant-through capability.
