The OSG 15152005 is a cobalt jobber-length drill bit sized to wire gauge No. 24, with a decimal diameter of 0.1520 inches (3.86 mm). It features a titanium nitride (TiN) coating over a cobalt steel body, delivering elevated hardness and heat resistance for drilling ferrous materials. The 130-degree split point reduces walking and allows self-centering without a center punch. With an overall length of 3-7/16 inches and a flute length of 2 inches, this bit is sized for general-purpose production drilling. It is part of OSG Series 1500 and is intended for use by machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and maintenance professionals working with steel and alloy steel.
