The OSG 1500100300 is a double-end plug thread gage used to verify internal thread quality to ANSI 2B tolerance class standards. One end carries the Go member and the other carries the No Go member, allowing a technician to confirm both minimum and maximum material conditions in a single tool. The gage body is machined from high-speed steel for wear resistance during repeated gauging cycles. A handle is included. This tool is used in quality control, incoming inspection, and in-process verification of tapped holes wherever 3-48 UNC thread acceptance criteria must be confirmed.
The 1500100300 is suited for shops, field inspection teams, and production lines that tap or receive parts with 3-48 UNC internal threads. It applies wherever 2B class fit verification is required, including aerospace, electronics, and general mechanical assembly applications. The double-end design eliminates the need to switch between separate Go and No Go gages, keeping inspection efficient on the bench or at the machine.
Designed for inspection of 3-48 UNC internal threads manufactured to ANSI 2B class tolerance specifications.
Thread plug gages are used by machinists, quality inspectors, and toolroom technicians — not installed in a system but applied during inspection. Handle the gage members carefully to avoid nicks or corrosion that would affect accuracy. Clean and lightly oil the gage members after each use and store in a protective case. Gages should be periodically recalibrated per your quality system requirements to maintain traceability.
