The OSG 1433705 is a spiral flute tap designed for cutting 3/4-10 UNC internal threads in a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built from high-speed steel with a TiN (titanium nitride) coating, this tap delivers improved wear resistance and longer service life compared to uncoated tooling. The bottoming chamfer allows threading close to the bottom of blind holes. With 4 right-hand flutes at a 50-degree helix angle, the spiral geometry pulls chips up and out of the hole during tapping, reducing the risk of chip packing. Overall length is 4.25 inches. This tap is used by machinists, maintenance technicians, and fabricators working in production or repair environments.
