The OSG 1405005608 is a thread forming tap in the EXOTAP VP-NRT series, designed for bottoming applications in blind holes with a 10-32 UNF thread form. Manufactured from powdered metal high-speed steel with a TiCN (titanium carbonitride) coating, this tap cold-forms internal threads without cutting, eliminating chips and reducing the risk of chip packing in blind holes. It carries a Class 3B thread fit with an H3 thread limit, making it suitable for precision threading where tight tolerances are required.
