The OSG 1400115205 is a thread forming tap designed for producing internal threads without cutting, eliminating chips in the process. Part of the HY-PRO NRT series, it is ground from cobalt high-speed steel and finished with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating for extended tool life and heat resistance. This plug-style tap carries a 4 to 4.5 thread chamfer length and is rated to Class of Fit 3B with a Thread Limit of H3. Overall length is 2.125 inches with a tapping depth of 0.752 inches. It is suited to machine shops, maintenance facilities, and trade professionals performing precision threading operations.

This tap is configured for right-hand, through-hole threading of 8-32 UNC threads.
