The OSG 1332800 is a standard pipe tap designed to cut internal NPSF (National Pipe Straight Fuel) threads in a variety of metals. It produces 1/4-18 threads - meaning 1/4-inch nominal pipe size at 18 threads per inch - and is suited for applications requiring a straight, pressure-tight thread form. Built from high-speed steel (HSS) with a bright/uncoated finish, this tap offers solid wear resistance across a range of materials. The 4-flute configuration provides balanced cutting action and adequate chip clearance. Thread length is 1-1/16 inches with an overall length of 2.437 inches.
