The OSG 1310208 is a standard pipe tap designed to cut 1/8-27 NPT internal pipe threads in metal workpieces. Built from high-speed steel with a titanium carbonitride (TiCN) finish, it delivers improved wear resistance and longer tool life compared to uncoated HSS taps. The modified bottoming chamfer allows threading closer to the bottom of a blind hole while still providing enough lead-in for controlled thread engagement.
