The OSG 1252100 is a spiral flute pipe tap designed to cut 1/2-14 NPT internal pipe threads in a range of metallic workpiece materials. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral design with a 15-degree helix angle evacuates chips upward out of blind and through holes, reducing the risk of chip packing during the tapping cycle. Manufactured from high-speed steel with a bright finish, the tap delivers consistent thread form geometry across production and maintenance applications. Thread length measures 1-3/8 inches, overall length is 3-1/8 inches, and the shank diameter is 0.6875 inches.
