The OSG 1205000 is a spiral point tap designed for cutting 0-80 UNF internal threads in a wide range of materials. The spiral point geometry pushes chips forward into the hole rather than backing them out, reducing clogging and allowing faster throughput in through-hole applications. Built from high-speed steel with a bright finish, this tap features a plug chamfer, 2-flute construction, H2 thread limit, and a 2B class of fit. Overall length is 1.625 inches with a thread length of 0.35 inches (5/16 inches). Shank diameter is 0.141 inches. Right-hand thread direction. Series 105.
