The OSG 1200100 is a spiral point tap designed for cutting internal 0-80 UNF threads in a wide range of metals. It features a bottoming chamfer for threading close to the bottom of a blind hole, 2 flutes, and an H1 thread limit for tight tolerance control. Built from high-speed steel with a bright finish, it covers a broad range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Overall length is 1.625 inches with a thread length of 0.311 inches (5/16 inches). Shank diameter is 0.141 inches. This tap is intended for use by machinists, toolroom technicians, and maintenance professionals working on precision assemblies.

The 1200100 is suited for tapping 0-80 UNF threads in aluminum, cast aluminum, cast iron, low-carbon steel, medium-carbon steel, high-carbon steel, and hardened steel.
