The OSG 1125202 is a straight flute tap designed for cutting internal 3/4-16 UNF right-hand threads in a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It is manufactured from high-speed steel and features a plug chamfer, which distributes the cutting load across the first few threads for controlled thread entry. With 4 flutes and a 3B class of fit, this tap produces threads suited to standard fastener tolerances. The H3 thread limit provides a defined oversize allowance to account for material springback. At 4.25 inches overall length with a 2-inch thread length, it fits standard tap handles and CNC toolholders used in machine shop and production environments.

This tap is suited for tapping operations in aluminum, cast aluminum, cast iron, low-carbon steel, medium-carbon steel, and high-carbon steel. Installation Notes
