The OSG 1105611808 is a spiral point tap designed for threading 5/16-18 UNC holes in demanding materials. It features a plug chamfer for through-hole applications and a 2B class of fit, making it suited for standard precision threading work. Constructed from powdered metal and finished with a TiCN coating, it delivers extended tool life when cutting through tough materials. The right-hand, 3-flute design pushes chips forward ahead of the tap, reducing recutting and keeping flutes clear during the threading operation.
