The OSG 1072900 is a straight flute bottoming tap designed to cut 6-32 UNC internal threads in through-holes and blind holes where full thread depth near the bottom is required. Built from high-speed steel with a bright/uncoated finish, it runs 2 flutes in a right-hand configuration with an H3 thread limit, making it well-suited for controlled-tolerance threading operations. The bottoming chamfer engages the workpiece close to the bottom of a blind hole, allowing maximum thread engagement in tight clearance conditions.
