The OSG 1069400 is a straight flute bottoming tap designed for threading operations in a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Manufactured from high-speed steel with a bright uncoated finish, this tap cuts a 10-32 UNF right-hand internal thread to a 3B class of fit. The bottoming chamfer configuration allows threading close to the bottom of blind holes where lead-in space is limited. With an overall length of 2.375 inches and a thread length of 0.875 inches, the 1069400 fits standard tap holders and tapping chucks used in machine shop and production environments.
