The 130-degree split point geometry with R-thinned web reduces walking and lowers thrust requirements at entry. At 3-3/8 inches overall length and 19/64 inches (0.2969 inches) diameter, the stub-length body provides added rigidity compared to jobber-length bits, making it well-suited for drill press and CNC work where runout control matters.
