The OSG 1025400 is a straight flute tap designed for cutting 12-24 UNC internal threads in a wide range of workpiece materials. It features a taper chamfer for easy thread starting and is manufactured from high-speed steel with a bright, uncoated finish. The tap carries a 2B and 3B class of fit and an H3 thread limit, providing the dimensional tolerance needed for standard fastener applications. Overall length is 2-3/8 inches with a thread length of 15/16 inches. Four flutes support chip evacuation in through-hole and shallow blind-hole applications.
