The OSG 1025208 is a straight flute tap designed for cutting 10-32 UNF internal threads in a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Built from high-speed steel with a titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating, it delivers improved wear resistance and reduced friction compared to uncoated HSS taps. The plug chamfer distributes cutting load across the first several threads, making it suitable for through-hole applications. With a 2B class of fit and H3 thread limit, the tap produces threads that meet standard tolerance requirements for most general-purpose fastener assemblies. It runs right-hand thread direction and requires no coolant-through capability for typical applications.

This tap is used in machine shop, maintenance, and production environments where 10-32 UNF threads are required.
