The OSG 1023800 is a straight flute bottoming tap designed to cut 6-32 UNC internal threads in a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It features three flutes ground from high-speed steel with a bright, uncoated finish. The bottoming chamfer allows threading close to the bottom of a blind hole, making it the correct choice when full thread depth near the base is required. Overall length is 2 inches with a thread length of 11/16 inches. The H3 thread limit provides consistent tolerance control for 2B class of fit applications. Licensed machinists, tool and die makers, and maintenance technicians are the primary installers.
