The OSG 1020000 is a straight flute bottoming tap designed to cut internal threads in pre-drilled holes where full thread depth is required close to the bottom of a blind hole. Manufactured from high-speed steel with a bright/uncoated finish, this tap runs a 000-120 UNC thread form with 2 flutes in a right-hand direction. The H1 thread limit holds tight tolerances suitable for precision thread work. Overall length is 1.5 inches with a thread length of 0.19 inches, making it appropriate for miniature and micro-thread applications. Licensed machinists and tool and die technicians are the primary users of this tap.

This tap is suited for threading operations in aluminum, cast aluminum, cast iron, low-carbon steel, medium-carbon steel, and high-carbon steel.
