The OSG 1013800 is a straight flute bottoming tap designed for threading 6-32 UNC holes in a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Built from high-speed steel (HSS) with a bright, uncoated finish, it produces right-hand internal threads to a 3B class of fit with an H2 thread limit. The three-flute straight flute geometry provides good chip control in through and blind hole applications. Overall length is 2 inches with a thread length of 11/16 inches, making it suited for shallow to moderate thread depths. Licensed machinists, toolmakers, and maintenance technicians use this tap in manual tap wrenches and CNC tapping heads alike.
