The OSG 1011102 is a straight flute bottoming tap designed for threading 2-56 UNC holes in a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Made from high-speed steel, it produces right-hand internal threads with a 2B class of fit and an H2 thread limit. The bottoming chamfer allows threading close to the bottom of blind holes, making it well suited for tight-tolerance work in small fastener applications. Three flutes provide chip clearance while maintaining rigidity in the small 2-56 thread size. Overall length is 1.75 inches with a thread length of 0.4375 inches.

This tap is used in machine shop and production environments where small-diameter 2-56 UNC threads are required.
