The OSBORN 0007500900 is a drive arbor designed to adapt small-diameter wheel brushes to rotary power tools and bench grinders. It accepts a 0.5 inch arbor hole and features a 0.25 inch shank diameter, allowing the operator to mount wheel brushes onto standard rotary equipment with a matching 0.25 inch collet or chuck. This type of adaptor is a standard consumable in grinding, deburring, and surface preparation setups. Machinists, tool and die technicians, and maintenance tradespeople keep these on hand for quick brush changeovers. There is no attached spindle and no flow-through spindle on this unit, keeping the design straightforward and compact.
This drive arbor is intended for use with small-diameter wheel brushes in light industrial, maintenance, and fabrication environments. It is suited for bench grinder setups, drill press applications, and handheld rotary tool use wherever a 0.5 inch arbor hole brush needs to be driven from a 0.25 inch shank spindle. Typical applications include weld cleanup, rust removal, edge deburring, and general surface conditioning on metal workpieces. Sold individually as a single unit.
Designed for use with wheel brushes having a 0.5 inch arbor hole. Compatible with any rotary tool, drill press, or bench grinder accepting a 0.25 inch shank. Verify brush arbor hole size and tool chuck capacity before installation.
Installation is performed by machinists, maintenance technicians, or tradespeople familiar with rotary abrasive tooling. Always power down and disconnect the rotary tool or grinder before mounting or removing the arbor. Secure the shank firmly in the chuck or collet to the tool manufacturer's specified tightening procedure, and confirm the wheel brush is seated flush against the arbor flange before resuming operation. Do not exceed the maximum RPM rating printed on the wheel brush being mounted.
