The OSBORN 0005607700 is a helical power tube brush designed for cleaning the interior of tubes, pipes, and bores in mechanical and industrial service applications. Constructed with nylon fill material impregnated with silicon carbide abrasive, this brush delivers an extra fine 320-grit finish pass on bore surfaces without aggressive metal removal. The brush measures 0.165 inches in diameter with a 1-inch brush length and an overall length of 5 inches. A 0.093-inch diameter shank mounts directly to a power drill or flex-shaft tool for consistent, repeatable cleaning strokes. HVAC and plumbing technicians reach for this tool when cleaning small-diameter tubing, heat exchanger tubes, or condensate drain passages where controlled abrasion and debris removal are required.
This tube brush is suited for use on small-bore tubing encountered in residential and light commercial HVAC systems, refrigeration coil assemblies, plumbing rough-in work, and general industrial maintenance. The helical fill pattern provides uniform contact along the bore wall as the brush rotates under power. The nylon-plus-silicon-carbide construction makes it appropriate for use on copper, aluminum, and similar non-ferrous tube materials where a steel brush would be too aggressive. This is a single-piece item packaged individually.
Designed as a power-driven tube brush for small-bore interior cleaning applications. Fits standard drill chucks and rotary tool collets that accept a 0.093-inch diameter shank.
This brush is installed and operated by a licensed HVAC technician, plumber, or qualified maintenance professional using a power drill or rotary tool. Confirm the tool chuck or collet is rated for the shank diameter before use, and secure the shank fully before applying power. Wear appropriate eye protection when operating rotary abrasive tools, as loose debris and abrasive particles are expelled during use. Inspect the brush fill for wear or splaying before each use and replace when the helical pattern no longer maintains contact with the bore wall.
