The OSBORN 0003625400 is a helical power tube brush designed for cleaning, deburring, and surface finishing inside tubes, pipes, and bores. The brush uses a nylon fill material loaded with silicon carbide abrasive at a fine 120-grit grade, making it well suited for light material removal and surface blending without aggressive stock removal. The 1/8-inch shank diameter fits standard rotary tools, portable drills, and bench-mounted motors used in fabrication and maintenance applications. Plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and general maintenance trades rely on this brush type for prepping tube interiors before brazing, soldering, or inspection.
This power tube brush is appropriate for residential and light commercial maintenance tasks where interior bore surfaces need to be cleaned or conditioned. Typical applications include deburring copper tubing, cleaning heat exchanger tubes, and prepping steel pipe interiors. The helical configuration allows consistent abrasive contact along the full length of the brush as it rotates, providing even surface action inside cylindrical workpieces. It is packaged as a single unit and is compatible with rotary power tools accepting a 1/8-inch shank.
Designed for use with rotary power tools and portable drills that accept a 1/8-inch round shank accessory. Suitable for cleaning and finishing the interior of tubes and small-bore pipe sections in plumbing, HVAC, and general fabrication work.
Installation is performed by inserting the 1/8-inch shank into a compatible drill chuck or rotary tool collet and tightening securely before operation. Always wear appropriate eye protection when operating rotary abrasive brushes, as abrasive particles and debris can be ejected at speed. Confirm the tool RPM rating does not exceed the brush manufacturer maximum before use. Inspect the brush for wear or fraying before each use and replace if the fill material shows significant degradation.
