The OSBORN 0003087700 is a ceramic end brush designed for aggressive surface finishing, deburring, and blending on metal workpieces. The brush features a 1-inch diameter crimped wire construction filled with ceramic abrasive filaments rated at a fine grade with a 120 grit designation. A removable plastic bridle controls flare during use, extending working life and maintaining consistent contact pressure. The shank is included for direct chuck mounting. Maximum operating speed is 9,000 RPM. This brush is used by machinists, fabricators, and maintenance technicians working with die grinders, rotary tools, and drill presses.
This end brush is suited for detail work in bores, slots, weld seams, and recessed surfaces where flat or cup-style brushes cannot reach. The flared, bridled design makes it effective for contoured surfaces and irregular geometry. The ceramic fill material provides consistent cut rate and durability on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, castings, and fabricated assemblies. It is a single-piece unit with no hollow center construction.
Designed as a standard end brush for use with die grinders, drill presses, and rotary tools that accept a shanked end brush of this diameter and shank configuration.
Always confirm the spindle speed of the tool does not exceed the 9,000 RPM rating before mounting this brush. Power down and disconnect the tool from its power source before installing or removing the brush. Inspect the plastic bridle for damage before each use and confirm it is seated properly. Eye protection and appropriate PPE are required when operating rotary abrasive brushes.
